Professor Pranee Phinyocheep serves at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, Thailand, a globally recognized expert in natural rubber and polymer materials. She earned her BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Organic Chemistry from Mahidol University, and a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Le Mans University, France. With over three decades of research on chemical modification of natural rubber, her core research covers epoxidation, hydrogenation, latex functionalization, with applications in PLA toughening, thermoplastic vulcanizates, UV-curable resins for 3D printing and biomass fiber composites. She has published nearly 80 peer-reviewed papers with an h-index of 25. She received the APA ICON Award from Asian Polymer Association in 2022, chaired organizing committees of International Polymer Conference of Thailand and PACCON. She actively promotes polymer research cooperation between Thailand, China and France, focusing on sustainable bio-based elastomers and rubber nanocomposites with inorganic fillers.
